Who Are the Hawks?
The Hawks Hockey Club provides women of all ages the opportunity to play ice hockey in a competitive, but supportive environment. The Hawks play out of Bucks County Ice Sports Center in Warminster, Pa.
The two travel teams are in the Red and White divisions of the UWHL (United Women’s Hockey League). The Red being our “D” level squad, the White being our “C” level squad. The fall season runs from October through March, and if we’re lucky and make the playoffs, the season is even longer. The travel teams are quite intensive and do require the player to attend practices on Tuesday nights and games on the weekends. Home games for both travel teams are set for 8:30 pm on Saturdays. Away game times vary. Travel teams also play in a number of tournaments in the off season.
Besides fall season, the Hawks run a Spring League in which all women from the area are encouraged to join. We are also trying to schedule some women open hockey nights and clinics for the summer.
The Hawks just don’t play hockey either. The Hawks participate in numerous social gatherings throughout the year. Hey! We even row! A number of the Hawks will be rowing in the Dragonboat Festival/Competition on the Schuylkill in October. Our favorite get together of course, is the annual beef and beer FUN-raiser.

The Hawks continue to grow and thrive due to it’s make up of dedicated women who love the sport and camaraderie of the game of Ice Hockey. If you feel you can be an asset, on the ice or off the ice for the hawks we want to hear from you. Please email info{at}ladyhawkshockey.org
