The UWHL has released the Schedules for both the Red and White Divisions for the 2010-2011 season.
These dates are currently for league games only. Now that we have our schedules set, we typically add in a few non-league games as well.
Also note that the entire organization’s events are always listed on the calendar page, and if you use google calendar, you can add them to your own calendar as well.

Congratulations to the Hawks who won the 2010 Hockey Fights MS tournament in Bethlehem PA. The Hawks were undefeated in the three games they played leading up to the championship game Sunday morning. They faced the Wildcats from NY, and won the game 5-1.

The Hawks are very excited to offer a Learn to Play Hockey Clinic this fall! This clinic is designed for beginner to intermediate players looking to learn, or better their hockey skills. The clinic will be 11 weeks, 5 weeks of skill and drill work, 5 weeks of scrimmage, and a final week mixed scrimmage with the other Hawks Teams.

The schedule for the 2010 Hockey Fights MS Tournament has been announced. The Hawks will be playing in the Women’s Gray Division, against some new, and some familiar teams. The Division is made up of the Central Penn Blades, The Wicked, and the Wildcats, a team from NY. Games will be played at Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem PA Aug 13-15.
7:15pm (West Rink) – Hawks vs Blades
8:00am (West Rink) – Hawks vs Wildcats
2:30pm (West Rink) - Hawks at Wicked
7:45am (West Rink) – Consolation Game 3rd vs 4th
8:00am (East Rink) – Championship Game

Also don’t forget about the Fall Clinic/Rec Team. If you have any friends/family who are interested in learning how to play, this is a perfect opportunity to get them involved, and to learn the sport. The clinic will also be available for registered hawks to drop in for a small fee.
As soon as we have set dates and times from the rink for the clinic, they will be announced. But in the meantime if anyone you know is interested, please tell them to fill out this form.
The Hawks are looking to run a 10 week Women’s Learn to Play hockey Clinic this fall.
The Clinic would be aimed at Beginners, looking to learn the sport of hockey, to intermediate players looking to sharpen
their skills.

The Hawks are happy to announce that they are returning to Bucks County Ice Sports Center (formally known as Faceoff Circle) in Warminster for the Fall Season.
We have a very high interest this season from some new players to the organization, and are excited to play in the new 4 division UWHL.
Due to the high interest all returning players from the 2009-2010 season are asked to have in their $100 deposit prior to 7/7/10 (see Pam/ Deb Kalman). If you do not have in your deposit, it will be assumed that you are not intending to play for the 2010-2011 season, and you forfeit your roster spot.
Evals will be two nights in July, with the dates TBA (stay tuned). All new and returning players are asked to please register online (even if you already paid, just choose “check”, so that we have everyone’s contact information in place. Please register prior to 7/7/10 for returning players, and by Evals for new players. Ideally if you are interested in skating in the fall, register ASAP so that we can get a good idea of numbers.

Both Hawks teams finished up their seasons last week in the UWHL playoffs. The C Hawks finished fourth in their division after two tough losses against the Bridgewater Wings and the Lady Senators. The D Hawks finished in third place after a first round loss against the White Lightning and a second round win against the Americans.
The Hawks as an organization enjoyed winning this season. In league play, the C Hawks finished with a record of 9 wins 2 losses and 3 ties. The D Hawks with a league record of 11 wins and 3 losses.
We’d like to thank everyone, players and coaches for a great season!!
