There will be a general membership meeting on Tuesday, July 14th at 7:00 pm at Face Off Circle.
The agenda will include:
- Home tournament
- Spring League
- Treasurer Report
- Nominations and election of new officers . If you would like to run or nominate someone for President, vice-president, treasurer or secretary please let Nancy McGuire know. She will contact that person to see if they would like to accept the nomination.
- Travel team upcoming season, budget, rosters, coaching, etc.
If you have something you would like added to the agenda, please call or email Judy McCauley one week prior to the meeting.
The evaluations scheduled for June 27th and 28th have be cancelled.
There were so many vacations and other commitments for that weekend that it would not be a financially wise decision to purchase the ice slots. We will reschedule evals for early September. If you haven’t already registered please do so, and mail your $100 deposit by June 30th.
We need registrations early to allow the coaches to go over rosters and for the UWHL to make the division scheduling. Mailing address for checks made out to:

Due to the cancelation of the game on Thursday 6/11 there will be a make up game for the Purple and Green teams at 8:50pm on Tuesday 6/23. If you cannot make the game, please contact Julie by phone to get a sub.
In lieu of the normal open hockey on July 21st there will be a women’s clinic held at faceoff circle. The clinic will be run by Pat Croce. The fee is $10 (same as open hockey). This clinic is open to anyone who would like to attend, all skill levels. There is no pre-registration, just come on out and skate!

Pat has been coaching and developing hockey players in the Delaware Valley for the past 12 years at various different levels from Mite – Collegiate. He holds the highest level of coaching certification, a Masters Coaching Accreditation from USA Hockey.
Last season Pat was the Head Coach of the St. Joes Prep AAA, Jr Varsity Team. Pat and his staff lead the team through the season with some significant wins over Malvern Prep, and Holy Ghost which was a first in the clubs short life span that the JV program defeated these two rivals in regular season play. Unfortunatly the team lost in the first round of the play-offs to the Division Champions Ohara.
In 2001, Pat was instrumental in establishing the Women’s Collegiate Ice Hockey program at Drexel University and was the Head Coach from 2001 to 2003. During Pat’s tenure the program went from an $8,000 budget to a $30,000, two playoff showings and tied UVA in their very first official game as a hockey program. During this time Pat also developed Croces’ Clinics which is a skills clinic that is based off of traditional and non traditional European training methods, designed to teach players the skills and concepts needed to play the game of ice hockey at a high level. The clinics also focus on developing creativity and offensive awareness.
His training methods include high tempo drills focused on specific concepts and various small games to help reinforce the skills learned, develop creativity and apply everything in a game situation.
Starting this summer Faceoff Circle will offer Women’s Open Hockey sessions for $10 each!
- Tuesday nights starting July 14th until Aug 25th
- 9:00-10:00pm
- $10 for each session
So come on out and keep up on your skating in between BBQ’s!
** Note that the sesson on Tuesday 7/21 will not be open hockey, but a clinic instead.
